I am of the opinion that J.M. Smith, H.C. Van Ness, and M.M. Abbott do not know how to write in English.

To SVA: Guys, when you write a textbook with exercises, it doesn’t matter how brilliant you are if the problems make no grammatical sense. Please, review problem 4.39, and if you can’t find any logical/grammatical error, go back to high school and relearn english.

I can probably let off main authors for simple grammatical mistakes. Isn’t it the job of editors/proofreaders to fix those errancies?

    • Hindi lang simple grammatical mistakes e. There’s this whole logical inconsistency that makes the problem unsolvable and ridiculously ridiculous.

You know what they say, half of the problem is understanding it.

Oh well, as they say: “Good luck sa inyong lahat!”
